We have 37 people registered for our ASP trip! Unfortunately, our church vehicles (pickup truck, passenger van, and mini-bus) will transport about 24 comfortably.
As an adult that is going, please respond to the following questions if you are:
A) willing to drive one of the church vehicles, and/or
B) willing to drive a personal vehicle on the trip.
IMPORTANT:
1. If you are willing to drive you own vehicle, per our church insurance policy, your personal vehicle insurance policy will be primary and the church's will be secondary.
2. West Lawn UMC will compensate you in one of two ways for using your personal vehicle, the choice is yours:
A) Provide you with a receipt to use for filing your 2024 income taxes with the IRS stating that your vehicle was used for "X amount of miles" at the IRS's "standard gratuitous services to a charitable organization" at 14 cents per mile, which can be used as a charitable deduction, or
B) Reimburse you after the trip for fuel, which will require you to use your personal credit card while on the trip and then submit receipts to Pastor Chris.
A copy of your driver's license and personal automobile insurance policy must be provided to Pastor Chris.
