A variety of  ministries, mission projects, discipleship paths and fellowship opportunities are available to women at West Lawn UMC. We invite all females to get involved in areas that interest them, and use their God-given gifts to bring glory and blessings to others. We encourage women to suggest and foster new ministries at any time. For more information regarding Women's Ministries, contact Kelly Rismiller.

Funeral Hospitality Team
Our congregation is blessed by the abundant hospitality provided by members of our church. A group of women help families feel loved during a difficult time by setting up refreshments, meals, and providing baked goods for a funeral or memorial service luncheon.

Women's Small Groups
Small groups of women informally gather both on campus and in one another's homes to share in fellowship and life experiences as they strengthen their Christian friendships. We encourage all small groups to remain open to new individuals, as everyone can benefit from living in close community with one another.

Each fall, a group of West Lawn women get together at an offsite retreat center for a weekend of reflection, renewal and relaxation. The group shares meals and lodging together, while a guest speaker guides the discussion and focus of the casual daily agenda.

Exercise Class
Remaining physically fit and active, like Daniel in the Bible demonstrates, allows us to serve God to the best of our abilities throughout our lifetime. A group of women meet each Saturday morning at West Lawn to support one another's as they exercise together.
