Be Doers, Not Hearers Only

In what way are modern Christians tempted to act in the same way that first century Christians acted? What are some of the good deeds of “omission” in my life? What are some of the good deeds of “commission” in my life? In what ways does my faith NOT show up in my daily living? How can I model in my living what the kingdom of God is meant to look like? How can I treat ALL people better with honor and respect? (James 2:2-8) Do I live in a way that honors God? In a way that ministers to other people? (This is what God is interested in.) My life is a sermon. What am I made of? Am I not only a hearer of the word but a doer also? (James 1:22) How?
