What two qualities do we have in common with sheep? Have you ever wandered away from God? What was it that distracted you or pulled you away? Where are you now? Who is/are the shepherd(s)? Who are the sheep? The questions we are supposed to ask when we hear the parable of the lost sheep are 1) “If I were a sheep, where would I be in this story?” 2) “What kind of shepherd am I?” 3) “Am I fully aware of the Chief Shepherd’s love for me? How do I respond?”
