Life can be overwhelming—grief, illness, job loss, divorce, or simply feeling lost. In those times, it helps to have someone who listens, prays, and cares. That’s what Stephen Ministers do.

Stephen Ministers are lay congregation members trained to provide one-to-one care to those experiencing a difficult time in life, such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or relocation. They’re not counselors, but compassionate, trustworthy friends who meet one-on-one to provide weekly, confidential support grounded in faith. Stephen Ministers come from all walks of life, but they all share a passion for bringing Christ’s love and care to people during a time of need.

Whether you're facing a crisis or just going through a tough season, a Stephen Minister can be that steady, caring presence you need.
