United Women In Faith
BOLD WOMEN TRANSFORMING COMMUNITIES is the theme of our meeting on Tuesday, January 21 in Hebrews Café at 11:30 AM.
We will be using this as our Call to Prayer & Self-Denial observance. For more than 150 years, United Women in Faith has taken action to turn faith, hope and love into work on behalf of women, children and youth in every corner of the world.
Bring your lunch and beverage as we engage in learning about needs of women throughout the world.
This past year has been a busy time for our group. We shared 40 quilts with Lighthouse Ministries, Opportunity House, Mary’s Shelter and Berks Heim. In addition, $300 funded Bibles for the Angel Tree and Christmas buckets with Safe Haven Lighthouse afterschool program. Undesignated Funds/Pledge, World ThankOffering, Ingathering offering and 2024 Call to Prayer offering totaling $513.61 were sent to South District toward the National United Women in Faith.
