Hello and Welcome
Are you interested in becoming a member of West Lawn UMC? Maybe you have some questions and would like to know more about this church and its mission. You're invited to join the pastors for a cup of coffee (or tea or water) and conversation about what it means to be a member here on Sunday, November 30 in HeBrews Café (located in the lower level of the sanctuary building) at 12:30 PM. Come, have a warm cup of coffee, and learn more about what it means to be a follower of Christ at West Lawn.
West Lawn Tree of Blessing
We are thrilled to share some wonderful news: a version of the Christmas Angel Tree tradition will continue this year! Thanks to the heartfelt initiative of Jayme Raffauf, we will be offering a special “Tree of Blessing” opportunity for all West Lawn members to support local families in need this Christmas season.
Beginning today, the West Lawn Blessing Tree will be on display in the Sanctuary lobby. The tree will be decorated with tags listing gift requests for both adults and children. We invite you to stop by, select a tag, shop for the requested items, wrap your gifts, and return them to West Lawn by Sunday, December 14.
Because of the unique format of this year’s Blessing Tree, we will not be holding the traditional Christmas party. However, your generosity will still bring joy, hope, and comfort to families in our community, and your kindness will make a meaningful difference in their holiday season.
If you have any questions or would like to assist Jayme with behind-the-scenes support, please contact her at jayme@westlawnumc.org or 610-568-5098.

Longest Night Service
Sunday, December 21 at 7 PM · Sanctuary
Join us for a gentle, reflective service designed for anyone who finds the Christmas season heavy, quiet, or complicated. The Longest Night Service creates space for prayer, comfort, and hope—especially for those carrying grief, stress, or loneliness during the holidays.
Led by Pastor of Congregational Care Pat Goshert, with support from our Prayer Team, this service offers candlelight, Scripture, and moments of stillness to remind us that God’s light meets us even in our darkest nights.
All are welcome. You don’t have to walk this season alone.
