Christmas 2025 Worship Services

Christmas Eve Service Details

Longest Night Service on 12/21 at 7 PM: As the Christmas season shines brightly with joy and celebration, many find this time of year difficult. Grief, loss, illness, loneliness, or uncertainty can make the season feel heavy. The Longest Night Service offers a gentle space to bring those feelings before God.
Join us for a quiet, reflective service of scripture, prayer, and candlelight as we acknowledge both the darkness of the season and the promise of Christ, our Light. Together, we’ll find comfort and hope in His presence. All are invited to this gentle service of hope and healing. Come and let your heart rest in God’s peace.

Family Services on 12/23 at 6 PM and 12/24 at 11 AM: Join us for our Christmas Eve Family Worship Experience—God Created Christmas: Masterpiece in Motion—on December 23 at 6 PM and December 24 at 11 AM! Together, we’ll bring the Christmas story to life as we celebrate God as the ultimate Creator. We’ll discover the creativity behind God sending a baby to be our Savior—and the creative spark He’s placed in each of us! This unforgettable service features our fun “Christmas Cam,” uplifting worship, exciting surprises, giveaways, and even opportunities for kids to shine on stage. Bring the whole family and celebrate Christmas with us as we encounter God’s Masterpiece in Motion! These services do include candlelight, but do not include Holy Communion.

Join our Christmas Eve Team

Especially on Christmas Eve, our church has the opportunity to welcome many visitors. Some are traveling a long way to visit their families, others may be looking for a permanent place of worship, while some may be stopping in for a Christmas Eve service to experience church for the very first time. Let us open our doors and our hearts to those who come. You have an opportunity to serve and potentially make a difference in someone’s life. Help us to make their visit at West Lawn UMC memorable! Your church needs your help in the areas of greeters, parking lot greeters, ushers, clean-up between services, dispersing candles and their collection, etc. All are welcome to join our Christmas Eve team to serve our church and God as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior.
