Men's mission trip
Carolina Rebuilding Ministry | February 28 - March 5, 2027
Join Pastor Chris and other men from West Lawn for a week of hands-on service, time with other men, and mission with Carolina Rebuilding Ministry (CRM) in Windsor, North Carolina.
This trip is for adult men of all skill levels. You don’t need to be an experienced carpenter or contractor to participate. If you’re willing to lend a hand and work as part of a team, there will be a place for you. At the same time, men with experience in carpentry, construction, electrical work, plumbing, painting, general home repair, or other handyman skills are especially encouraged to join us and put those skills to work.
CRM has been a trusted mission partner of West Lawn for the past two summers, and we’ll be serving with them again during our intergenerational summer mission trip, July 25–August 1, 2027. Their ministry works with homeowners in northeastern North Carolina who need assistance repairing and maintaining their homes.
Our teams have worked on a wide variety of projects through CRM, including flooring, siding, windows and doors, bathrooms, kitchens, accessibility projects, painting, and other home repairs. The specific projects for this trip will depend on the needs of the homeowners and the skills of our team.
We’ll stay at CRM’s large, renovated Volunteer Center, which provides a comfortable home base for the week. The facility includes heating and air conditioning, real beds, indoor plumbing and hot showers, a full commercial-sized kitchen and dining area, and plenty of space to relax after the workday.
We’ll depart West Lawn on Sunday morning, February 28, and travel to CRM. From Monday through Thursday, we’ll spend the daytime working on home repair projects assigned by CRM. We’ll prepare most of our own meals and head out once or twice to enjoy some local food. Evenings will be relaxed — time to unwind, talk, explore the area, play some cards, watch a ball game, or simply enjoy being together.
For a few days, the rhythm is simple: work hard, eat well, relax, and do some good.
We’ll depart early Friday morning, March 5, with an anticipated return to West Lawn around 2:00 PM.
Whether you’ve spent years working with your hands or you’re better at holding the other end of the tape measure, you can be part of the team.
To help make the trip accessible, participants may choose from three pricing tiers: $150, $250, or $400. Each tier provides the same trip experience; the different rates simply allow participants to contribute at a level that best fits their current situation. No explanation is required. If cost is truly a barrier to participation, please contact Pastor Chris privately.
Registration deadline: January 31, 2027.

Mission Trip Tiered Pricing
We believe mission trips have the power to shape faith, build community, and form people through hands-on service. We also believe that cost should never be the reason someone feels unable to participate.
Tiered pricing allows us to make this mission trip accessible to as many people as possible. Through the generosity of donors and designated ministry funds, we are able to offset some of the costs for those who need it, while inviting others to help cover the full cost of the trip. Each tier reflects the same experience, the same work, and the same mission—only the cost differs.
We also believe that everyone should make a meaningful personal contribution toward the trip. Shared investment helps build commitment, responsibility, and a sense of ownership in the mission we are undertaking together.
Please choose the tier that best fits your current situation. No explanations are required.
If cost is truly a barrier to participation, please reach out to Pastor Chris privately.
All participants receive the same experience, serve in the same ways, and are part of the same mission.

- Tier 1 – $150
- This is a subsidized rate made possible through donations and ministry support. Tier 1 helps ensure that financial circumstances do not prevent someone from serving on the mission trip.
- Tier 2 – $250
- This tier reflects a partial contribution toward the true cost of the mission trip. Choosing Tier 2 helps support the mission as a whole while still receiving some financial assistance.
- Tier 3 – $400
- This tier represents the true cost of the mission trip, including lodging, meals, program expenses, materials, and required contributions.
