The Corinthians had questions about what it meant to be holy. Today, what does it mean to you to be Holy? Paul answers 3 questions asked by the Corinthians -- Should we eat meat sacrificed to idols? If our neighbor serves meat sacrificed to idols, should we eat it? When we are invited to the Corinthian feasts and festivals where food sacrificed to idols is served, should we participate? Paul instructs us to do nothing that would cause someone else to stumble in their faith. Today, what could that look like? Have we done that? Have you done that? Think of our modern-day idols. Do they have an effect on you? How? Paul tells us, “your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.” If we could peel back the curtain in your temple to reveal your throne… what would we see?
