Adopt-A-School Initiative

West Lawn UMC is partnering with local elementary schools, beginning with Whitfield Elementary, for the purposes of building strong, sustaining relationships with schools, and providing help to transform the lives of children right here in our county. As a servant in various districts, you can show God’s love to children in many tangible ways. Sign up today to be part of this missional ministry - Adopt-a-School!

Here are some of the way you can get involved:
- Reading to any grade-level student
- Helping K and Grade 1 students with letters & sounds
- Practicing math facts with children
- Practicing SNAP words with children
- Playing games that support academic skills
- Assisting with lunch duty
- Assisting with recess duty
