Christmas is more than tinsel and tradition—it’s the ultimate love story between God and humanity, revealing that God’s very nature is love expressed through action, not just emotion (1 John 4:7–12). From hesed and ahavah to philia and agape, Scripture shows us that real love gives—fully and sacrificially—seen most clearly in the cross, God’s bold “I love you this much.” When we truly trust this never-running-out love, we’re freed to stop hoarding it and start giving it away, becoming living signs of the love that came down at Christmas.
