KEY QUESTION: How can I live like Jesus?
BOTTOM LINE: Live like Jesus
MONTHLY MEMORY VERSE: "As you deal with one another, you should think and act as Jesus did." Philippians 2:5
MONTHLY VIRTUE: LIVE IT OUT
WHAT WE LEARNED THIS WEEK:

Live Like Jesus
This week, our lesson focuses on part of a letter Paul wrote to the Philippians. He is encouraging them to follow Jesus in thought and action.
Before we can think and act like Jesus, we need to know Jesus! Hopefully, attending church helps with this! The more we learn about how Jesus lived, loved, and cared for others, the more we can discover how He wants US to live, love, and care for others. “Jesus humbled Himself. What that means is He put others first. He chose to love and serve others—especially those who were overlooked. He was humble and obeyed God, even though it led to His death. Jesus loved us so much that He gave up His own life to take the consequences of our mistakes and poor decisions. Jesus paid for our sins to make it possible for our relationship with God to be restored! Living like Jesus can seem impossible, but it takes a lifetime. Just keep going! Keep helping, loving, and serving others. That's how we can continue to grow in our ability to Live like Jesus.

WAYS TO ENGAGE
MORNING TIME: As your kid starts their day, encourage them that they have what it takes to live like Jesus this week!
WHILE ON THE GO: While on the go, ask your kid: “What are some ways you’ve seen people live like Jesus?” (You may need to give them some examples to get them started.)
MEAL TIME: At a meal this week, have everyone at the table answer this question: “What do you think it means to live like Jesus? Give some examples or share stories.”
BEDTIME: Pray for each other: “Jesus, help us to not only learn about You, but follow You. Help us to care about people the way You care about them. Help us to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.”
