Tree of Blessing

We are thrilled to share some wonderful news: a version of the Christmas Angel Tree tradition will continue this year! Thanks to the heartfelt initiative of Jayme Raffauf, we will be offering a special “Tree of Blessing” opportunity for all West Lawn members to support local families in need this Christmas season.

Beginning Sunday, November 30, the West Lawn Blessing Tree will be on display in the Sanctuary lobby. The tree will be decorated with tags listing gift requests for both adults and children. We invite you to stop by, select a tag, shop for the requested items, wrap your gifts, and return them to West Lawn by Sunday, December 14.

Additional tags were added to the tree this week, and will be available this Sunday, November 7.

A few notes:
  1. If multiple gifts correspond to the same tag, please keep them together in a single bag or box.
  2. If you are purchasing gift cards for adults, they do not need to be wrapped, but they do still require the tag to be attached. A collection bag will be available at the Welcome Center for any unwrapped or unpackaged gift cards.

If you are interested in helping move and sort gifts on Sunday, December 14, please contact Jayme Raffauf at jayme@westlawnumc.org or 610-568-5098.

Because of the unique format of this year’s Blessing Tree, we will not be holding the traditional Christmas party. However, your generosity will still bring joy, hope, and comfort to families in our community, and your kindness will make a meaningful difference in their holiday season.
